SOS Children is the world’s largest orphan charity. SOS care for children who have lost their parents to war, famine, disease, poverty and natural disasters. SOS are looking after more than 50,000 orphaned and abandoned children in 440 SOS Children’s Villages in over 125 countries around the world.
SOS Children’s Villages give orphaned or abandoned children a stable home and loving family as well as security, love and education and hope for the future.
SOS help a further half a million in the community through the treatment and prevention of illness, medical care, support for street children, family tracing and re-integration for child soldiers, day care and education for children from poor families and emergency relief.
